On Sheet2, enter the following formula into A1: In this example, we'll multiply these two values and show results in A1 on Sheet2. In Sheet1, enter "5" into A1 and "10" into B1. This gives you the ability to create a large network of workbooks that calculate and chart data without limiting results to only a single file. Excel 2019 gives you the ability to reference another sheet in the opened spreadsheet and even reference cells in an entirely different workbook. Referencing other data isn't limited to only the current worksheet. Excel also gives teams the ability to make comments on spreadsheets, protect cells and allow a third party to change only a certain cell range.

These formulas automatically update and reflect changes in the active cell. In Excel 2019, you can point to different sheets, workbooks and cells using formulas. You'll probably need to edit cells, change formatting and make additional revisions. You’ll know the formula was entered properly as an array formula when curly brackets appear around the formula (see image above).It's unlikely that every value entered into an Excel cell will never need replacement.
